Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures
- be dependable and reliable
- have outgoing and friendly behavior
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- adhere to safety and health regulations
- be capable of standing up to 4 hours continuously and 8 hours per shift
- able to walk up to 2 miles per shift
- work inside temperature-controlled area
- able to use sharp knives and equipment safely
- lift and carry products between 25 to 90 lbs
- use pallet jack to move up to 500 lbs
- move racks weighing up to 70 lbs
- move tables weighing up to 70 lbs

Job Duties
- Receive, store, and grind meats
- unload and transport fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery trucks
- count and weigh incoming articles and compare results against invoices
- examine meats in storage and rotate stock to prevent aging
- provide prompt and friendly customer service
- assist customers with questions and special orders
- maintain cleanliness by following Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs
