- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate meat wrapping machine and grinder
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to lift moderate weights
- willingness to follow safety guidelines
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a meat department or food service preferred but not required
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to operate wrapping machines and meat grinding equipment
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina for standing and lifting
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Wraps and labels meat products using wrapping machine
- stocks display cases with meat products
- operates meat grinder to prepare ground meat
- cleans and sanitizes meat department including meat room, cooler, equipment, and utensils
- restocks supplies needed for daily operations
- ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- assists team members in maintaining efficient meat department operations
