- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and handle heavy products
- no current restrictions or health issues preventing work in a meat department
- strong work ethic
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in meat handling or food service is a plus
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate wrapping machines and meat grinders
- good physical stamina for standing and lifting
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Wraps and labels meat products using wrapping machine
- stocks display cases with meat products
- operates meat grinder
- cleans and sanitizes meat department including meat room, cooler, equipment, and utensils
- restocks supplies in the meat department
