Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery

- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to sell proactively
- Ability to learn basic product knowledge
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned
- Maintain back stock in good order
- Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, model suggestive selling techniques, answer phones and pages promptly and courteously
- Maximize sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- Follow and comply with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned

- Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
