Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
- Must handle FDA approved cleaning chemicals safely
- Ability to work in cold and wet environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment safely
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to use tools and heavy equipment like box cutters and pallet jacks

- Ability to sell proactively
- Basic knowledge of products in the meat department
- Ability to inspect products for quality and freshness

- Ability to assist with inventory checks

Job Duties
- Ensures fresh and appealing displays by checking quality, stocking, rotating and cleaning products
- Maintains back stock organization and inventory
- Assists with sampling programs and keeps sampling areas clean and stocked
- Cleans cases, glass, floors, and equipment as required
- Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work, attends trainings and meetings
- Provides excellent customer service and applies suggestive selling techniques
- Maximizes sales by proper prepping, storing, and merchandising of products
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties including pricing accuracy
- Reports safety hazards immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
