Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in a wet and cold environment
- ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- completion of required trainings and meetings
- adherence to store standard operating procedures

- ability to sell proactively
- basic knowledge of all products carried in department
- ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- ability to read labels and familiarize with various products
- ability to assist with periodic inventory checks

Job Duties
- checks product quality and freshness to ensure a fresh and appealing display
- keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked
- rotates and removes out-of-date products
- fills ice tables
- maintains back stock in good order
- assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
- provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
- maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
- follows health and sanitation regulations and safe work practices
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- ensures accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned by leadership
