Job Requirements
- no prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- use of single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling hand use
- ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching motions
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to safely handle knives and other cutting equipment
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery

Job Duties
- ensure fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other assigned duties
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively, and use suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- follow and ensure compliance with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, and maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
