Job Requirements
- 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired
Job Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- knowledge of meat processing including boneless and bone-in products
- experience supervising associates
- food handler certification (food safety)
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to use digital tools and technologies effectively
- commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- ability to train and develop team members
- capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Supervises the team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
- communicates the goals of the department and executes company programs
- adheres to policies and advocates for the member, associate, and company
- works collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure club meets members expectations
- maintains knowledge of floor operations, backroom operations, product updates, and product specifications
- ensures meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment usage, safety, sanitation, and compliance
- shares product knowledge and prioritizes team training
- engages with members to assist in protein selection
- leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales
- utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production and quality
- drives business results and commitment to operational excellence
- maintains a clean, neat, and safe work area
- facilitates product inventory and ordering
- ensures appropriate staffing and compliance standards
- trains and develops team members, encourages career growth, and sources new talent
- collaborates with managers and coworkers to implement processes and improve results
- promotes compliance with company policies and ethical standards
- leads and participates in team projects
