Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in meat cutting or food service is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to operate meat cutting and processing equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using handheld digital tools for inventory and production management
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • Demonstrates knowledge of backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation
  • Prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to established standards
  • Utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • Ensures commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to company policies
  • Assists members with purchasing decisions and provides exceptional customer service
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
