Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service or retail meat department is advantageous
  • Knowledge of meat cutting, trimming, grinding, and packaging
  • Ability to operate meat processing equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards
  • Proficient in using digital tools for inventory management and sales
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with team members to build a strong meat department team
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of meat preparation, safety standards, and equipment maintenance
  • Use hand-held technology to enhance production and product quality decisions
  • Ensure operational excellence by maintaining clean and organized work areas and adhering to company policies
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain quality control standards including proper packaging, labeling, and storage of meat products
  • Comply with company policies and ethical standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently
