Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and is flexible to work in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, backroom tasks, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to established standards
- leverages handheld technology to improve sales, training, and product quality decisions
- ensures commitment to operational excellence by maintaining safety, quality, and date control standards
- assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged and labeled
- models high-quality service and products while valuing member experience
- complies with company policies and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, identifying priorities and communicating progress
