Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • communicates with team members and is flexible to work in other areas
  • demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, backroom tasks, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
  • prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to established standards
  • leverages handheld technology to improve sales, training, and product quality decisions
  • ensures commitment to operational excellence by maintaining safety, quality, and date control standards
  • assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged and labeled
  • models high-quality service and products while valuing member experience
  • complies with company policies and ethics standards
  • completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, identifying priorities and communicating progress
