Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and remains flexible to support business needs in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to standards
- cuts boneless meat products and maintains quality standards
- uses digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve member experience
- ensures operational excellence including quality control, date control, waste elimination, merchandise packaging, and storage
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- advocates for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethics
- completes assignments using resources and collaborates with managers and coworkers
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
- adapts to change and feedback
