Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • communicates with team members and remains flexible to support business needs in other areas
  • demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
  • prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to standards
  • cuts boneless meat products and maintains quality standards
  • uses digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve member experience
  • ensures operational excellence including quality control, date control, waste elimination, merchandise packaging, and storage
  • assists members with purchasing decisions
  • advocates for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
  • complies with company policies and ethics
  • completes assignments using resources and collaborates with managers and coworkers
  • communicates progress and recommends improvements
  • adapts to change and feedback
