Job Duties

  • Be a team member by collaborating with other associates to build a strong meat team

  • Be an expert by demonstrating knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
  • preparing, cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming meat products according to standards
  • cutting boneless meat products
  • maintaining product quality standards
  • Be a techie by utilizing digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • using hand held technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • adapting to new tools and encouraging peers
  • Be an owner by committing to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to policies
  • ensuring quality and date control of meat products
  • securing fragile, high-shrink merchandise
  • eliminating waste
  • assisting members with purchasing decisions
