Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of meat handling and safety standards preferred
  • Experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to operate cutting and grinding equipment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use digital tools for business operations preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • Demonstrates knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation
  • Prepares meat products according to established standards including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming
  • Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • Maintains work area according to company policies, ensuring quality and date control standards for meat products
  • Assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
  • Complies with company policies and standards of ethics, completing work assignments and priorities with collaboration and communication
