Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in meat cutting or food service considered an asset
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- prepares meat products according to established standards including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming
- uses handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- maintains commitment to operational excellence by ensuring work area cleanliness and compliance with company policies
- secures merchandise and eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of products
- advocates for the department by modeling high quality service and products
- complies with company policies and ethical standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers and adapts to feedback and change
- provides exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting members with a positive attitude
- maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area
