Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
  • demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation guidelines, and equipment maintenance
  • prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to standards
  • maintains product quality standards
  • utilizes handheld technology for production decisions and quality control
  • ensures work area is clean, neat, and member-ready
  • adheres to company policies and ethics standards
  • provides exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking members
  • assists members with purchasing decisions and product knowledge
  • ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of meat products
  • applies quality and date control standards
  • eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
  • models high quality service and products in the department
