Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation guidelines, and equipment maintenance
- prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to standards
- maintains product quality standards
- utilizes handheld technology for production decisions and quality control
- ensures work area is clean, neat, and member-ready
- adheres to company policies and ethics standards
- provides exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking members
- assists members with purchasing decisions and product knowledge
- ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of meat products
- applies quality and date control standards
- eliminates waste and secures fragile merchandise
- models high quality service and products in the department
