Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in meat cutting or food handling preferred
- Knowledge of product safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate and maintain meat processing equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with handheld technology and adaptability to new digital tools
Job Duties
- Maintain positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer member questions
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready meat department area
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team and communicate effectively
- Prepare meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming, and cutting boneless meat according to standards
- Utilize digital tools to enhance sales and improve shopping experience
- Ensure quality and date control standards for meat products and secure merchandise properly
