Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • communicate with team members and adapt to business needs by working in other areas
  • demonstrate knowledge of business floor operations, safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
  • prepare meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming, and boneless meat cutting
  • maintain quality standards for meat products
  • leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
  • utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • maintain work area according to company policies
  • ensure quality and date control standards
  • secure high-shrink merchandise
  • eliminate waste
  • assist members with purchasing decisions
  • package, label, and store merchandise properly
  • act as a talent ambassador by modeling high-quality service and exhibiting passion for the work
  • comply with company policies and ethics
  • complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
  • collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers
  • communicate progress and recommend improvements
  • adapt to change and learn from feedback
