Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail oriented
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to follow safety and food safety protocols

Job Duties
- Prepare and produce meat products to production planner
- Package and label meat products per program plan
- Merchandise meat products per flight plan or merchandising expectations
- Stock backroom with meat products including rotating and dating cases or buckets
- Notify the meat manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
- Work as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash retail stores
- Communicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates
