Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class D driver's license
- clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry meals
- reliable transportation and punctuality
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and responsibly
- availability to work Monday through Friday mornings
- experience working with older adults preferred
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- a valid Class D driver’s license
- previous work experience as a driver preferred
- excellent driving record
- patience, tact, and positive attitude
- ability to work independently and as a team player
- flexibility and personal integrity
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
Job Duties
- Pick up meals from the Home Delivered Meals kitchen
- deliver meals to seniors on a specified route
- observe and assess meal consumption
- assess home situations of seniors
- interact compassionately with customers
- report any concerns regarding seniors’ well-being or safety to management immediately
- maintain documentation including collecting and filing menus
- return food carriers to the main kitchen
