Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • at least two years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
  • experience in an upscale or luxury dining environment preferred
  • hotel or resort experience preferred
  • experience with POS systems such as Micros or Agilysis
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card
  • TIPS certification
  • ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays

  • experience in an upscale or luxury dining environment, preferred
  • hotel or resort experience, preferred
  • experience with POS systems such as Micros or Agilysis
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card
  • TIPS certified
  • Title IV certification, preferred
  • ServSafe certified, preferred
  • CPR or First Aid certified, preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
  • mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
  • check guests for proper identification
  • input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest and personnel guests including those served by other servers to maintain accountability of all beverages served
  • receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all supplies
  • maintain stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
  • maintain and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
  • lock up and store all beverage, food and other items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
