Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Homemaker certification
- Willingness to work short hour cases
- Proficient in English
- Ability to drive or take public transportation to cases
- Availability in Lowell, Chelmsford, Dracut, Westford, Dunstable, and surrounding areas
Job Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Homemaker certification
- Proficient in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle diverse client needs
- Experience in direct personal care and household tasks
- Comfortable with short hour cases and flexible scheduling
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation access
Job Duties
- Enhance clients' well-being and quality of life
- Provide direct client care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Assist with transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
- Support clients in completing activities of daily living
- Promote patient safety, hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, clean environments, happiness, and social engagement
- Communicate effectively and work independently
- Identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate conditions appropriately
- Adapt to diverse client homes and respect various personalities and behaviors
