Job Requirements

  • Availability in Lowell, Amesbury, and surrounding areas
  • Willingness to work short hour cases
  • Ability to drive or take public transportation to cases
  • Active Massachusetts Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Homemaker certification required
  • Proficient in English
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle diverse client needs and personalities

  • Proficient in English
  • Experience in caregiving or home health aide roles preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and compassionate skills
  • Ability to work independently in diverse home settings

Job Duties

  • Enhance clients' well-being and quality of life
  • Provide direct client care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
  • Provide transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed
  • Support clients in activities of daily living
  • Promote patient safety, hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, clean environments, happiness, and social engagement
  • Communicate effectively and work independently
  • Identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate conditions
  • Work respectfully with diverse client personalities and behaviors
