Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in supply management, logistics, business, or related field or at least 5 years supplier relationship management experience as buyer, logistics, or program manager
  • At least 5 years experience in materials management preferably in manufacturing or warehouse setting with raw materials, forecasting, production processes, quality control, and cost management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in continuous improvement environment
  • Lean Manufacturing or APICS/CPIM certification is a plus
  • Experience and competence with MS Office products including Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory best practices
  • Experience in warehouse or production environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all material planning, purchasing, forecasting, and logistics
  • Monitor daily operations of the supply chain to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
  • Create and maintain inventory forecasts based on sales and customer data
  • Manage new part setup including pricing and supplier information
  • Provide customer support with efficient communication on order status
  • Manage inventory levels to balance stock adequacy and minimize waste
  • Ensure suppliers meet quality and delivery standards
  • Quote, evaluate, negotiate, and select carriers for shipments
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and shipment issues
  • Manage Bill of Materials and create work orders for kitting and assembly
  • Document import paperwork for customs clearance
  • Monitor supply chain KPIs and work with suppliers on improvements
  • Manage inbound logistics with cost-effective transport modes
  • Develop master schedules aligned with client priorities and production capabilities
  • Evaluate customer change requests and their impact
  • Collaborate with operations on labor and priority orders
  • Identify schedule disruptions and develop contingency plans
  • Monitor production scheduling adherence and report discrepancies
  • Analyze client schedule changes and communicate impacts
  • Implement process improvements for scheduling and delivery efficiency
  • Assess production specifications and warehouse capacity for project completion
  • Process and manage orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Expedite orders to meet master schedule and customer deadlines
  • Coordinate kitting work to fully utilize labor
  • Support client meetings for new part adoption and approvals
  • Monitor vendor price change requests and communicate with clients
