Job Requirements

  • Meet one of the specified employment authority categories
  • Ability to perform material handling duties without more than normal supervision
  • Skilled in operating transport vehicles and forklifts
  • Experience managing warehouse receipts, storage, shipment, and distribution
  • Ability to use office automation software and logistics systems
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Willingness to work in varied and sometimes uncomfortable or hazardous conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in materials handling or warehouse operations
  • Skilled in operating forklifts and transport vehicles
  • Ability to operate warehouse logistics systems and software
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in handling materials
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and record keeping
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently

Job Duties

  • Receive incoming materials and supplies
  • Store supplies in designated areas and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
  • Operate forklifts and motor vehicles safely for loading, unloading, and transporting materials
  • Manage receipts, storage, preparations, shipments, and distribution within the warehouse
  • Utilize office automation software and logistics systems to process supply information
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in past transactions
