Job Requirements
- Meet one of the specified employment authority categories
- Ability to perform material handling duties without more than normal supervision
- Skilled in operating transport vehicles and forklifts
- Experience managing warehouse receipts, storage, shipment, and distribution
- Ability to use office automation software and logistics systems
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work in varied and sometimes uncomfortable or hazardous conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in materials handling or warehouse operations
- Skilled in operating forklifts and transport vehicles
- Ability to operate warehouse logistics systems and software
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in handling materials
- Basic computer skills including data entry and record keeping
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Job Duties
- Receive incoming materials and supplies
- Store supplies in designated areas and maintain inventory accuracy
- Prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Operate forklifts and motor vehicles safely for loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Manage receipts, storage, preparations, shipments, and distribution within the warehouse
- Utilize office automation software and logistics systems to process supply information
- Research and resolve discrepancies in past transactions
