Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Ability to do the work of a materials handler (warehouse worker/MVO) without more than normal supervision
- skilled in operating transport vehicles to deliver materials and supplies to proper locations
- skilled operating forklifts to move, load, unload, transfer, transport and stack goods
- ability to research past transactions for discrepancies and take corrective actions when needed
- ability to utilize office automation software and logistics systems to store, draft and process medical supply information
- ability to manage various precious metals, controlled substances and sensitive items within a warehouse
- ability to manage loading and final count of equipment prior to shipment
Job Duties
- Assist in development of storage plans to for effective space utilization in the retrieval and protection of materials
- review inventory documentation to identify discrepancies
- perform monthly inventory to maintain strict control of controlled or high demand items
- identify items requiring special handling and/or storage (e.g. refrigerator, freezer, vault, etc.) to determine appropriate storage location
- report violations or perceived violations of safety rules, policies and procedures related to material handling
- utilize office automation software or logistics systems to data systems to input and retrieve data
- deliver supplies to internal customers and/or restock dispensing containers within a medical treatment facility (MTF) or clinic
- maintain accountability of supplies and/or equipment to include proper filing per standard operating procedures, regulations, or warehouse issue and receipt documentation
