Job Requirements

  • Show evidence of training or experience sufficient to perform the duties of the position
  • Pass a screening evaluation based on dexterity, safety, leadership, materials knowledge, and technical work practices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting over 40 pounds
  • Available to work in the warehouse environment
  • Willingness to lead and supervise a team of Materials Handlers

Job Qualifications

  • Evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality to perform the duties of the position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dexterity and safety practices
  • Ability to interpret instructions and specifications
  • Experience in leading or supervising a team
  • Familiarity with materials handling and warehouse technical practices
  • Understanding of effective work practices in a warehouse environment

Job Duties

  • Serve as a lead over a group of Materials Handlers
  • Receive, store, select, and ship general and specialized bulk and bin materials and equipment
  • Supervise warehouse personnel and coordinate daily materials handling activities
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and work practices
  • Interpret instructions and specifications related to warehouse processes
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and offloading heavy items frequently over 40 pounds
