Job Requirements
- Meets all Cleveland Clinic insurance requirements
- May require appropriate valid driver’s license to drive box trucks
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds
- Ability to pull a 2500-pound pallet using a manual pallet jack
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
- Must follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of materials management or related experience preferred
- Inventory knowledge preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
Job Duties
- Provide support to the hospital supervisor on project work
- Collaborate with management to improve daily activities
- Support areas that care for patients with higher acuity and volume
- Receive, unpack, inspect items for damage and verify accuracy of shipments
- Use warehouse management system to input shipment information
- Sort, put away, pick and deliver supplies, mail, and patient records
- Rotate stock and check for outdates
- Handle returns with required documentation
- Communicate with site managers to fulfill stocking needs
- Deliver supplies to appropriate floors and healthcare facilities
- Monitor dock traffic and prioritize deliveries
- Put away freight and supplies using materials handling equipment
- Verify shipment accuracy and document variances
- Prepare goods for distribution ensuring timely delivery
- Perform physical stock counts for inventory control
- Survey and stock nursing floors and clinical areas
- Unload and unpack cases in designated storage areas
- Perform routine expiry management to meet KPIs
