Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with SAP Business One and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple software platforms
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts
  • Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain best practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to run reports, extract data, and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and SAP platforms
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistic concepts
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices
  • Ability to recognize innovative opportunities
  • In depth knowledge of vendor relationships
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain detailed supplier forecasts for raw materials based on production planning
  • Develop and manage day to day ordering processes and logistics from purchase to receipt of goods and services
  • Purchase order entry and submission to suppliers and vendors
  • Verify purchase order acknowledgements
  • Confer with vendors on order status to eliminate delays
  • Resolve problems regarding deliveries and discrepant materials
  • Schedule deliveries and manage changes
  • Manage inventory levels to target expectations
  • Track vendor performance to plan
  • Systematically approach orders to continually refine processes
  • Provide world class customer support to internal and external teams
  • Update in process purchase orders for revised quantities and delivery dates
  • Prepare KPI reports for vendor performance and on time delivery
  • Provide back up for other departmental tasks
  • Provide feedback to Production Scheduling on material availability
  • Work closely with the Procurement Team to have knowledge of approved vendors and materials operating within contracts
  • Assist with ordering processes within all company businesses
  • Professionally represent Company at industry related events with some travel required
