Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months operating small equipment experience preferred
- Two or more years face-to-face customer service experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials as required
- Willingness to work rotating days and some weekends
- Commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Six months operating small equipment experience preferred
- Two or more years working with customers face to face in high volume environments such as automotive service desks, waiter/waitress, or face-to-face sales
- Basic computer skills
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
- Knowledge in inventory control
Job Duties
- Inspect various grades of material upon delivery into the yard
- Sort and upgrade materials to meet quality standards per established protocols
- Operate small equipment such as shears, balers, loaders, and forklifts
- Assist customers with unloading materials
- Help with packing and loading material prior to shipment
- Operate crane as necessary to provide overflow coverage
- Interact with customers and truck drivers face to face
