Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1-2 years operating industrial powered trucks, primarily sit-down forklifts
- proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
- ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- flexibility to work overtime or weekends
- knowledge of safety regulations and compliance for forklift operations
- willingness to learn new systems and engage in continuous improvement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating industrial powered trucks, primarily sit-down forklifts in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- proficiency in English language (read, write, and speak)
- good communication and teamwork skills
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- knowledge of safety regulations for forklift operations
- willingness to learn new systems and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- previous experience with AS400, SAP, and Visitrak is preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the plant
- operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items and work with other team members to ensure materials are moved in FEFO order
- load and unload trucks using a forklift
- keep accurate inventory records and update computer systems with material movement
- properly tag finished goods and move them to warehouse staging areas
- perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report issues
- follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- communicate effectively with team members to coordinate material movement
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- assist with other tasks as assigned by plant management
