Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience operating heavy forklifts or equivalent equipment
- Ability to safely operate heavy machinery
- Ability to work weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on 12-hour shifts
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 75 pounds
- Adherence to safety and PPE policies
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Previous experience operating heavy forklifts or construction equipment
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety policies
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast changing priorities and conditions
- Team-oriented with attention to detail
- Professional attitude with internal and external customers
Job Duties
- Operate all sizes of heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts up to 25,000 pounds, and skid loaders in tight spaces and all weather conditions
- Ensure production bays have necessary materials for efficient operation
- Operate overhead cranes
- Load semi-trailers with materials for shipment
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and organize materials in proper locations
- Maintain clean, organized inventory area
- Track stock quantities and materials using a computer system
