Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- high school diploma or GED
- one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous material handling work experience preferred
- previous forklift driving experience preferred
- must be fluent in English to ensure safe and effective communication on the production floor
- ability to use basic computer skills
- must be able to work full time, up to 12 hours per day including Saturday and Sunday
- ability to drive safely
- strong organizational skills
- must be able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- observe and comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements associated with this job description
- participate in needs analysis and attend and perform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position
- participate, as requested, in independent objective auditing activities and support company continuous improvement activities
- stop work on processes as appropriate and contain suspect or defective material or services to avoid further processing
- move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
- position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hook tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transport load to designated area
- unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
- inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed
- weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules
- load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
- recharge batteries or replace liquefied gas tank
