- Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to bend, squat, and maneuver packages in enclosed spaces
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass drug screening
- Must be alert and work safely
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts including evenings and early mornings
Job Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level
- Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs using appropriate equipment or assistance
- Able to walk and stand for designated work hours
- Able to bend and squat for designated work hours
- Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment
- Ability to complete all basic and re-currency training successfully
Job Duties
- Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight dangerous goods and ULDs
- Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight
- Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
