Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • must be able to successfully complete Nestle forklift certification training
  • one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • prior warehouse and forklift experience preferred
  • work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens
  • willingness to train others
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • ability to use digital tools such as iPads and computers
  • ability to interpret documents in English
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • safely operate a forklift

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • one year related experience and/or training
  • prior warehouse and forklift experience preferred
  • forklift experience with push-back racking a plus
  • ability to respond to verbal and written instructions
  • willingness to use digital tools such as iPads and computers
  • ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • safe forklift operation skills

Job Duties

  • Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
  • unloads and stacks material by using lifting device
  • replenishes production lines with raw and packaging materials as needed
  • returns materials to warehouse during changeovers or end of run
  • delivers recycled materials to recycling room
  • positions and weighs pallets
  • documents information as per SOP
  • complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
  • follows safety rules, SOPs and GMPs guidelines
  • willingness/capability to cross train/learn job functions in other areas of the warehouse team in the facility
  • willingness to train others as needed
  • performs other duties as assigned
  • inventory counts as needed
  • operates packaging and processing equipment
