Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse or cold storage environment preferred
- Ability to operate electric-powered forklifts or hand-trucks
- Must be able to work overnight shifts
- Ability to work in cold temperatures ranging from -15 to 35 degrees
- Must pass background and drug screen
- Good attendance
- Willingness to learn
- Positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse or cold storage environment preferred
- Ability to operate electric-powered forklifts or hand-trucks
- Basic math skills for counting and weighing items
- Good communication skills for reporting and recording
- Ability to work in cold temperatures
- Team player with positive attitude
Job Duties
- Reads shipping order and or picking order to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed
- Positions forks and or other lifting devices under or over loaded pallets and transports same to designated warehouse areas and or storage racks by operating electric-powered forklifts or electric-powered hand-trucks
- Loads and or unloads product items and other materials onto and off pallets skids or lifting devices
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type or product code
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Lifts counts sorts and places product items on pallets according to order fill instructions or special requirements
- Prepares and records order fill tickets and truck logs load sheets in accordance with company standards
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Responsible to report food safety and quality problems to their supervisor
