Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- One to two years industry related experience preferred
- May require forklift certification
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Good or corrected vision
- Ability to add and subtract
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
- Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

Job Duties
- Performs various manual operations and operates equipment in a warehouse and logistics process
- Receives, identifies, stores, picks and moves goods and material
- Serve as the lead to distribute work assignments and daily activities to team members
- Promote safe work practices
- Follow and ensure quality standards are adhered to
- Post the performance numbers for the area
- Oversee loading and unloading of products
- Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within assigned area
- Comply with legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging and packing of goods and materials in assigned area
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets/shelves, move orders to packing station or shipping department
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck manually or using hand equipment
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
