Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience in warehouse or distribution environment
- Forklift certification may be required
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Good or corrected vision
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and complete basic checklists and forms
- Timely problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform various manual operations and operate equipment in a warehouse and logistics process
- Receive, identify, store, pick and move goods and material
- Serve as the lead to distribute work assignments and daily activities to team members
- Promote safe work practices and ensure quality standards are adhered to
- Post the performance numbers for area
- Oversee loading and unloading of products
- Manage material organization by moving materials and items to storage or other designated areas
- Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools, equipment and products within assigned area
- Comply with legal procedures for handling and receiving goods
- Ensure the proper labelling, tagging and packing of goods and materials
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves
- Move orders to packing station or shipping department
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Assist in receiving cargo using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type or product code
