Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of warehouse operation experience
  • Experience loading large containers and box trucks
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to operate forklifts preferred
  • Sufficient mobility to turn, bend, lean and kneel
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Flexible schedule availability

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to two years experience in warehouse operations
  • One to two years experience loading 53' and 48' containers and box trucks
  • One year supervisory experience
  • Previous forklift experience desired
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word

Job Duties

  • Provide great customer service to stores, admin and vendors/donors
  • Move raw donated materials, salvage commodities, trash, equipment and fixtures on/off trucks and within the plant
  • Sort materials properly into designated locations using the Kaizen system
  • Ensure full compliance with Kaizen guidelines, audits and 5-minute drills
  • Assist in all areas of salvage sorting process
  • Cross train to cover other specified job descriptions within the plant as needed
  • Lead areas of operation and provide assignments for Material Handler I team members
