Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of warehouse operation experience
- Experience loading large containers and box trucks
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Ability to operate forklifts preferred
- Sufficient mobility to turn, bend, lean and kneel
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Flexible schedule availability
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One to two years experience in warehouse operations
- One to two years experience loading 53' and 48' containers and box trucks
- One year supervisory experience
- Previous forklift experience desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
Job Duties
- Provide great customer service to stores, admin and vendors/donors
- Move raw donated materials, salvage commodities, trash, equipment and fixtures on/off trucks and within the plant
- Sort materials properly into designated locations using the Kaizen system
- Ensure full compliance with Kaizen guidelines, audits and 5-minute drills
- Assist in all areas of salvage sorting process
- Cross train to cover other specified job descriptions within the plant as needed
- Lead areas of operation and provide assignments for Material Handler I team members
