Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker
- ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading trucks
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
- ability to maintain accurate records and operate safety checklists
- commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

- provides amazing customer experiences to all internal and external customers
- acts as an ambassador of Palmetto Goodwill and its I-CARE values
- embraces an expectation of learning and growth by enthusiastically participating in training and development
- celebrates and supports a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and belonging
- assists unloading or loading trucks
- sorts merchandise into containers for storage, processing, distribution, and recycling
- operates baler machine to prepare specified material for distribution
- maintains accurate record keeping of recycling output
- maintains a clean and safe working area
- visually inspects equipment prior to operating to determine if equipment is safe to operate
- utilizes safety checklists to maintain accurate record keeping of equipment safety inspections
- obtains and maintains license to operate forklift and walk behind stacker
- demonstrates proficiency in the above duties, responsibilities, and equipment operation through evaluation
- assists with periodic maintenance of industrial equipment
- complies with all agency policies, procedures and safety standards
- performs other job-related duties as assigned
