Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a forklift certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical capability to perform job-related activities
- Willingness to follow safety and good manufacturing practice protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling roles, preferably in regulated environments such as medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass certification immediately upon hire
- Experience in proper handling and storage of chemicals and biological samples is highly desirable
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with FedEx Ship Management software is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities required for the job
Job Duties
- Receive all incoming deliveries, verifying piece counts against bills of lading
- Check in items received into internal tracking system
- Prepare shipments for domestic and international transportation, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation such as customs forms and dangerous goods declarations
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate material movement
- Perform warehousing functions including storage, picking, staging, and movement of materials throughout the site
- Maintain accurate records within warehouse systems
- Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards and good manufacturing practices
- Safely handle hazardous chemicals and biological materials following strict protocols
- Ensure proper temperature control and storage conditions for sensitive materials
