Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor
- valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- ability to operate warehouse management systems
- basic computer skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols
- reliable transportation if required to operate company vehicle

Job Duties
- Load and unload material
- receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials and enter materials into the warehouse management system
- receive and count items, and record data manually
- identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- utilize hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and/or designated areas
- maintain and execute materials management programs as designed within the warehouse
- document and maintain inventory and ensure production area organization and cleanliness
- fill requisitions and orders
- pack, crate, and ship products and materials to the warehouse, departments, or assembly line
- keep the warehouse area organized and clean
- take out trash and transport cardboard boxes to the cardboard compactor for recycling
- stockyard and store items in a safe, orderly, and accessible manner
- inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- operate forklifts to pick, stock, and or receive shipments of materials or equipment, stack and retrieve supplies and materials
- have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- may be required to operate a company vehicle to retrieve will-call stock from local suppliers up to 50 miles to remote facilities to pick up supplies as needed
