Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and competently
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours from 4:00 p.m. to 12:45 a.m.
- Ability to comply with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment
- Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving materials
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to follow safety procedures and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work night shifts and overtime as required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position
- Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process
- Perform quality checks as instructed
- Receive and process material kitting orders promptly to execute production schedules
- Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy
- Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment safely and competently
- Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area
- Receive and process incoming raw materials and ensure the inventory process is followed correctly
- Prepare finished products for final shipment including packaging, documentation, and loading, and ensure on-time delivery
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers and pallet jack
- Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health
