Job Requirements

  • Some warehouse experience
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions consistently

Job Duties

  • Assists drivers with loading and unloading of bins
  • Create soft and hard goods bins for drivers
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers including raw donations, trash, and salvage
  • Segregate soft goods, hard goods, and trash
  • Ensure all items are marked correctly including donations, commodities, and salvage
  • Sort recyclables in proper containers such as metal, plastic, and cardboard
  • Build and palletize empty gaylords for commodities ensuring heavier commodities have adequate support
  • Operate equipment including auger, compactor, tipper, down-stroke baler, auto-tie following established procedures
  • Use material handling equipment such as pallet jack, hand truck, and furniture dolly
  • Clear post retail textile tables of trash and commodities
  • Clean, organize, and sweep the warehouse to ensure a safe environment
  • Lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs
