Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • complete opening activities including doors, cone placement, prep for truck switch, and donation drive through set up
  • move, sort, select, and properly display merchandise following company procedures while carrying up to 70 pounds
  • tag, hang, and price textiles, shoes, and furniture
  • receive and process donated goods, direct donors to proper location, and issue receipts
  • perform record keeping related to daily activities and donation counts
  • maintain cleanliness of donation area, restrooms, and store including sweeping, mopping, and garbage recovery
  • cover coworkers break times cooperatively
  • prepare salvage items including boxing, sorting, quality control, and wrapping furniture for transport
  • build boxed furniture for sales floor placement
  • assist with pricing items according to company policies
  • complete closing activities including doors, cone retrieval, and donation drive through tear down
  • comply with safety and loss prevention policies
  • provide customer service by assisting donors and interacting positively with customers
  • ensure safe work conditions by reporting hazards
  • maintain confidentiality
  • attend meetings and training sessions
  • perform other assigned duties
