Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • willingness and ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • ability to walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material daily
  • willingness to work occasional overtime
  • ability to work in plant and outdoor environments under harsh weather conditions
  • ability to work independently or in a team
  • willingness to wear personal protective equipment including hard hat, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection
  • ability to operate a forklift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • legally authorized to work in the country

  • ability to work occasional overtime
  • willingness to work in plant environments and harsh weather
  • capacity to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, steel-toe shoes, and eye and ear protection
  • forklift operation skills
  • basic knowledge of warehouse operations in manufacturing or oil and gas industries preferred
  • familiarity with SAP Production Planning and Sales & Distribution modules preferred
  • beginner level proficiency in keyboard and basic computer use
  • ability to obtain or possession of a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card preferred

Job Duties

  • Use a forklift to safely load and unload package trucks across the dock
  • move inventory within the warehouse
  • transfer finished material from production lines to inventory storage locations
  • demonstrate health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) due diligence at all times
  • receive, ship, and move materials and supplies manually or mechanically
  • offload, inspect, audit, and approve receipt of incoming raw materials for stock and cost accuracy
  • perform equipment adjustments to maximize production, safety, and quality
  • load finished products onto transport trailers safely and efficiently
  • organize and maintain raw material inventory to ensure adequate stock and operational flexibility
  • perform cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy
  • interface with SAP material management system and use barcode scanners
  • communicate effectively with co-workers and drivers during shifts and shift relief
  • adapt to schedule changes and overtime as needed
  • work any assigned shift
  • support HSEQ policies and procedures
  • uphold the goals and vision of the Hartford Leadership Team
  • maintain housekeeping in assigned areas
  • adhere to required shift schedules on an as-needed basis
