Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency preferred but not required
- No experience required
- Open availability
- Ability to lift and carry 30-40 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing
- Ability to climb ladders and travel across various surfaces
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including with limited English speakers
- Maintain reliable attendance
- Ability to perform safe work practices
- Willingness to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 30-40 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work safely in warehouse and outdoor environments

Job Duties
- Remove and sort through salvage material and garbage from salable goods
- Sort donations into appropriate bins for further processing
- Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor
- Use cardboard compactors and identify problems
- Maintain donor tallies
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture
- Report any potential hazards or accidents
- Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Operate forklift when certified according to Seattle Goodwill standards (if applicable)
- Perform other duties as assigned
