Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year or recent forklift and warehouse experience
  • Ability to safely operate forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must have a safe work record and stable employment history

Job Qualifications

  • One year or recent forklift and warehouse experience
  • Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load and unload trucks
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to work independently at times under pressure
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to read and comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, and safety material
  • Safe work record and stable work history

Job Duties

  • Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines
  • Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage
  • Store and retrieve material (piece pick and or bulk)
  • Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products
  • Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area
  • Assist in periodic inventory counts as requested
