Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
  • ability to safely operate a forklift
  • physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • ability to read and understand sales and purchase orders
  • ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
  • reliable attendance and good work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience
  • ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks
  • ability to understand and follow directions
  • ability to work independently at times under pressure
  • ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs
  • ability to read/comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, and safety materials
  • safe work record and stable work history

Job Duties

  • Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines
  • load, unload, and store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage
  • store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
  • prepare paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products
  • perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
  • maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area
  • assist in periodic inventory counts as requested
