Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands and fingers
- Ability to work any shift
- Must follow safety protocols
- Ability to operate forklift and crane equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic arithmetic and counting skills
- Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
- Safety-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Move material within department to and from departments using forklift and crane
- Identify, locate and move material to and from stock locations safely and productively
- Perform daily forklift operator's safety and maintenance checklist
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safety-oriented work approach
- Operate equipment following departmental supervisors' directions
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively with team members
